No entry into the tank is needed. This is safe for toxic flammable and high temperature media. The unit works for vertical tanks horizontal tanks and reactors with limited top space. A float sits on the end of a lever arm. The float rises and falls with the liquid level. The lever movement drives a magnetic coupling. The magnetic coupling activates the switch contact inside the sealed housing. The tank interior and exterior are completely isolated. No mechanical seal passes through the tank wall.
