The unit uses a magnetic sensitive chip instead of mechanical flags. A magnetic float sits inside the stainless steel main tube. The float rises and falls with the liquid level. The float magnetic field is detected by the magnetic sensitive sensor. The sensor sends the signal to the LED display. The LED shows red for liquid and green for vapor. The red green line shows the liquid level position clearly. No mechanical flags are used in this design. This solves common problems like flag fading flag jamming and flag falling off. The housing and wetted parts are made from 304 or 316L stainless steel. The seamless welded construction gives good strength and corrosion resistance.
