Precision machined custom external gears

Product Description   Customised external gears are forged and finish-machined spur, helical or double-helical (herringbone) configurations with outside diameter 80–4 000 mm, modules 2–50, face width ≤ 600 mm, weight ≤ 15 t. Closed-die or open-die forging followed by CNC hobbing, shaving and grinding achieves AGMA Q6–Q10 accuracy, 0.8 µm flank Ra and profile modification as required.     Performance Carburise, nitride or through-harden options produce 58–62 HRC tooth surface, 1–4 mm effective case depth, core 300–450 HV. Bending fatigue limit ≥ 450 MPa, contact fatigue ≥ 1 500 MPa; impact energy ≥ 35 J at –40 °C meets ISO 6336, API 677 and AGMA 6011. 100 % UT EN 10228-3 and MT ASTM E709 guarantee crack-free, inclusion-free structure.   Features Continuous 360° grain flow along tooth profile doubles bending fatigue life versus cut-from-bar gears; integral forged hub, keyway and shrink-fit bore eliminate costly welds.
