Premium GI GL Alu PPGI/PPGL Steel GI, GL, PPGI, and PPGL represent a spectrum of metallic coated steel sheets used primarily in construction and cladding. ‌GI (Galvanized Iron/Steel)‌ refers to hot-dip galvanized steel, where a pure zinc coating (e.g., Z90-Z275 per EN 10346) is applied for basic corrosion protection. ‌GL (Galvanized with Aluminum addition)‌, more accurately termed ‌GL/AZ (Aluminum-Zinc alloy coated)‌, has a coating composition of approximately 55% Al, 43.5% Zn, and 1.5% Si (e.g., AZ100-AZ150).
