410 Stainless Steel Round Pipe or Tube

410 Stainless Steel Round Pipe/Tube is a hardenable martensitic alloy containing 11.5–13.5 % Cr and ≤0.15 % C. Magnetic in both annealed and hardened conditions, it is manufactured to ASTM A312, A269, A213 and EN 10216-5 in seamless, ERW or EFW forms. Outside diameters range 6 mm–1 200 mm (¼”–48”), wall 0.5–25 mm (Sch 5S–XXS) and mill lengths 1–12 m. Surfaces include pickled, 180–600 grit polished, mirror 8K or electropolished (EP) for smooth bore requirements.   Product Features Heat-Treatable: quench & temper to 40 HRC, yielding 1 000 MPa UTS and 15 % elongation for high-strength duties Moderate Corrosion Resistance: PREN ≈ 12 gives good performance in freshwater, steam, food acids and mild alkalis; polishing or passivation improves longevity Wear & Fatigue Resistance: martensitic structure resists galling, making it ideal for shafts, plungers and compressor rods.
