Designed exclusively for producing sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) through the electrolysis of brine (NaCl solution), titanium-based sodium hypochlorite anodes are mixed metal oxide (MMO)-coated titanium electrodes. They use high-purity titanium as the substrate and have a catalytic ruthenium-iridium oxide coating on the surface, delivering excellent chlorine evolution, corrosion resistance and a long service life, thus being key components of sodium hypochlorite generators. Energized in 3–5% NaCl brine, the anode efficiently generates chlorine, which dissolves in water to form NaClO. The Ru-Ir coating ensures low chlorine evolution potential, high efficiency and no heavy metal leaching. With structures like mesh and tube (customizable), Gr1/Gr2 titanium substrate, 2–5 years of service and working current density of 200–2000 A/m², they pass strict quality tests.
