Product Definition & Core Features
Permeable concrete bricks, also known as porous concrete bricks, are a type of high-performance paving material made from cement, graded coarse aggregate, and a small amount of admixture (no fine aggregate). Their distinct porous structure (void ratio 15%-25%) enables rainwater to penetrate directly through the brick body into the underlying soil, making them a core solution for stormwater management and sponge city construction worldwide.
Compared with traditional concrete bricks, they excel in:
Rapid Water Infiltration: Permeability coefficient reaches ≥2.0×10⁻³ m/s, 3-5 times higher than ordinary permeable paving materials, effectively preventing surface water accumulation.
Strong Load-Bearing Capacity: Compressive strength ≥25MPa (some high-strength models up to 40MPa), meeting the use requirements of medium-to-heavy traffic areas such as community roads and commercial parking lots.
Excellent Weather Resistance: After 25 freeze-thaw cycles (…
