Product Descriptions
The Mechanical Stethoscope enables digitalized and standardized daily inspections for motors, pumps, fans, compressors, gearboxes, and transmission shafts, establishing equipment health baselines. During the phase when equipment shows apparent abnormalities but has not yet shut down, it provides early warnings by regularly monitoring trends in vibration and sound spectrum changes.
Examples include bearing damage (inner ring, outer ring, rolling element faults), poor gear meshing (wear, tooth breakage), misalignment, imbalance, mechanical looseness, resonance, etc.
The Mechanical Stethoscope is used for inspecting the running gear bearings and gearboxes of railway locomotives and metro vehicles, as well as for condition monitoring of marine auxiliary machinery (e.g., generators, propulsion motors). It is also applied in inspections at power plants (steam turbines, water pumps, fans) and substations (cooling fans), as well as for condition checks on generators, gea…
