Coagulant Aid Applications in Water Treatment   In the water treatment field, Sodium Silicate has important and unique application value. Activated silicic acid is a water treatment flocculant prepared by acidifying industrial sodium silicate (water glass), with the chemical formula Na₂O·xSiO₂·yH₂O, mainly used as a coagulant aid in water treatment. As early as 1952, Tianjin Waterworks began using activated silicic acid as a coagulant aid in water treatment.   Mechanism of Action in Wastewater Purification   Sodium Silicate can bind molecules and heavy pollutants for precipitation, separating them from water molecules to achieve purification.
