Product Overview HERSONCARE D-Panthenol (Dexpanthenol, Provitamin B5) is a high-purity cosmetic and pharmaceutical active in two specifications: 75% aqueous solution and 98% anhydrous grade. It is the D-isomer only — the biologically active form that converts to vitamin B5 in skin and hair. DL-Panthenol is a 50/50 mixture whose L-half is inactive, so D-Panthenol delivers full activity at half the molar dose of the racemic form. The two specifications are not interchangeable.
